Overview
According to the CDC's National Health Interview Survey, in 2019, 20.4% of all American adults, or about 1 out of every 5, had significant chronic pain. 7.4% of adults had chronic pain that frequently limited life or work activities in the past three months. This lecture will provide guidance for practitioners to develop evidence-based treatment plans for patients with pain in alignment with the patient’s treatment goals, communicate with the patient about the treatment plan and manage and monitor patient progress effectively. |
