Needs Statement
Educational leaders need to be oriented to the resources available to them in the College to perform their Academic leadership responsibilities. This professional development activity will help orient them to many of these resources as well as provide additional opportunities to continue building leadership skills. This session is designed to discuss systemic wellness and meditation methods for academic faculty, staff, and trainees; caring for oneself while caring for others.
Target Audience
This activity is designed for educators and clinicians.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the participants should be able to:
• Discuss the continuum of wellness and well-being.
• Recognize programmatic steps to assess and improve wellness and well-being at health centers.
• Describe the importance of personal wellbeing and self-care.

Evaluation by questionnaire will address program content, presentation, and possible bias.
