Hospitalists manage a wide spectrum of complex medical conditions, requiring ongoing education to stay updated with the latest evidence-based practices. Enhancing the knowledge, competence, and performance of healthcare professionals in hospital medicine is critical to improving patient care and health system outcomes. This activity is designed to address the challenges of diagnosing and managing common acute medical conditions, promote the adoption of new developments, and mitigate patient safety risks through evidence-based initiatives. Additionally, fostering professionalism, communication, and teamwork is essential to improving clinical efficiency, reducing errors, and supporting effective, ethical patient care.

This activity is designed for general internists, including hospitalists (both academic and community), nocturnists, primary care clinicians, advanced practice professionals (NPs and PAs), and medical trainees.
