Overview
Cardiovascular Advanced Practice Providers need to be regularly educated about guideline based therapies that are routinely updated in this specialty. The CV APP Bootcamp aims to fulfill the needs of CV APPs through didactic educational experiences, interactive case studies, and clinical immersion hands on experiences that further clinical and professional development and engagements for CV APPs at CommonSpirit Health. The topics in this series will include progressively complex topics and interactive experiences to broaden the knowledge, competence and performance of CV APPs. |

Target Audience and Needs
This training is for CommonSpirit Health CV APPs.
Educational Methods
Educational methods will include lecture, case study, simulation and skill-based training workshops.
Objectives
At the conclusion of the sessions, the participants should be able to:
- Apply evidence-based guidelines for cardiovascular patients.
- Classify patients with cardiovascular conditions into their respective clinical statuses, including heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias, and hypertension.
- Develop treatment plans that incorporate best practices from cardiovascular guidelines and statements published by expert consensus through the American Heart Association.
Evaluation
Participants may be asked to complete a session evaluation.
