Target Audience and Needs
Physicians, residents, fellows, medical students, and other healthcare professionals need regular updates on advances in clinical cardiology topics including advanced heart failure, tricuspid valve disease, and non-culprit lesions in STEMI. This series aims to provide an in-depth description of literature and evidence for various cardiac topics, with a platform to discuss diagnosis, treatment, and management options, and the ultimate goal of application to daily practice and improved patient outcomes.
Educational Methods
Educational methods will include lectures, case presentations, and literature review.
Objectives
At the conclusion of the sessions, the participants should be able to:
- Identify and address challenges encountered in the management of patients with cardiovascular diseases.
- Discuss diagnosis, treatment, and management options for various clinical cardiology topics.
- Apply recent cardiology advances to daily practice.
Evaluation
Participants may be asked to complete a session evaluation.
