Target Audience and Needs
Clinical faculty, fellows, residents, medical technologists, medical students, graduate students, and clinical laboratory scientists need regular updates on current findings in the field of laboratory medicine, including pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases. There is a need to enhance the role of pathology in patient care by providing useful information via diagnostic management teams (DMTs). This series seeks to bridge the gap between clinical research and patient care by enhancing the interaction of laboratory clinicians with the different specialists in an interactive academic forum.
Educational Methods
Educational methods will include case presentations, literature review, and panel discussion.
