Target Audience and Needs
Surgeons including faculty, residents, fellows, medical students, and other healthcare professionals need exposure and regular updates on the latest topics in the fields of Clinical Surgery, Ethics, and career development. This series seeks to provide the latest information in these fields with opportunity for Socratic discussion, critical analysis, and networking, with the desired result of incorporation into daily practice and improved care delivery across all divisions.
Educational Methods
Educational methods will include lectures and case presentations.
Objectives
At the conclusion of the sessions, the participants should be able to:
- Explore various topics in surgery for applicability to specific disease treatment options.
- Identify and implement current clinical best practices in the field of surgery.
- Review surgical techniques, surgical diseases, and how to identify surgical treatments appropriate for diagnostic testing and interpretations.
Evaluation
Participants may be asked to complete a session evaluation.
