Target Audience and Needs

Faculty, residents, and medical students in the fields of psychiatry and behavioral health need regular updates on current topics in psychiatry and how to translate advances in psychiatry to telepsychiatry in order to ensure continuity of care. This series aims to increase knowledge of clinical best practices and research advances in order to enhance the quality of care and improve outcomes.


Educational Methods

Educational methods will include lectures and case presentations.


Objectives

At the conclusion of the sessions, the participants should be able to:

  • Implement telepsychiatry into clinical practice.
  • Identify current clinical best practices in the fields of psychiatry and behavioral health. 
  • Describe the latest advances and current challenges for patient care.

Evaluation

Participants may be asked to complete a session evaluation.
