Target Audience and Needs
Physicians, residents, fellows, and community physicians need to be regularly updated on advances in the diagnosis and treatment of thyroid and endocrine cancer, as well as the clinical activities in the Division of Oncology.
Educational Methods
Educational methods will include case presentations and panel discussion.
Objectives
At the conclusion of the sessions, the participants should be able to:
- Apply advances in research, diagnostics, therapy, and cancer epidemiology to improvements in thyroid and endocrine cancer treatment.
- Describe the role of patient-based research in the management of thyroid and endocrinecancer.
- Discuss how these advances can affect the treatment and management of thyroid and endocrinecancer.
Evaluation
Participants may be asked to complete a session evaluation.
