Target Audience and Needs
Physicians, residents, fellows, and community physicians need to be regularly updated on advances in pathology and laboratory medicine, as well as the clinical activities in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.
Educational Methods
Educational methods will include lectures, case presentations, literature review, and panel discussions.
Objectives
At the conclusion of the sessions, the participants should be able to:
- Implement current diagnostic criteria into clinical practice.
- Apply new molecular diagnostic testing strategies appropriately and effectively.
- Communicate clinical-pathological information more effectively to those making treatment decisions.
- Apply current diagnostic testing effectively.
Evaluation
Participants may be asked to complete a session evaluation.
