The educational activity is designed to address identified professional practice gaps in menopause management among healthcare providers by improving knowledge, clinical confidence, and application of evidence-based care. A comprehensive needs assessment identified deficiencies in formal menopause education, inconsistent use of clinical guidelines, limited confidence in diagnosing and treating menopause-related conditions, and variation in clinical practice across specialties. To address these gaps, participants will complete a 12-week virtual educational series using evidence-based instructional strategies, including case-based learning, problem-based learning, interactive discussions, and application of current clinical guidelines and decision-support tools. Content will focus on menopause assessment, differential diagnosis, hormonal and nonhormonal treatment options, management of complex medical conditions, shared decision making, and culturally responsive care to improve health equity for diverse populations. The curriculum is designed to promote measurable improvements in clinician knowledge, confidence, and evidence-based practice through pre- and post-educational assessments, case application, and learner self reflection.
