Needs Statement

This activity is to provide the most up-to-date AUA Guidelines and recommendations for PSA Screening, evidence-based benefits of PSA screening, and sharing the changes of USPSTF Recommendations for prostate cancer screening for physicians.

Target Audience

This activity is for Primary Care Providers and Internal Medicine Providers. 

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

  • Discuss the value of PSA screening
  • Determine which patient should undergo PSA screening
  • Compare and contrast the options for prostate cancer management beyond treatment
  • Explain prostate cancer risk factors
