This activity will help attendees to more accurately diagnose and care for children with genetic aortopathies, and will provide updates on this population research to aid in improving long-term outcomes.
At the conclusion of this activity, the participants should be able to:
- Identify the best genetic testing strategy in children with aortic dilation.
- Apply evidenced-based medicine to deciding about medication therapy for children with aortic dilation.
- Implement strategies to determine optimal timing of aortic and other cardiac surgery.
