Needs Statement
Physicians, clinical researchers, residents, fellows, medical students, and other healthcare professionals involved in health services research need regular updates on new scientific evidence and methodologies in the field. This series aims to foster professional development, to increase learner competency, to refine research performance, to improve healthcare access, quality, and safety, and to promote diversity and equity in health services research.

Physicians, medical students, fellows, residents, and other health professionals.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of the activity, the participants should be able to:
- Discuss the importance of structuring the narrative of a presentation from an equity-focused perspective.
- Identify issues related to equity, inclusion, and the experiences of historically marginalized groups in their presentation.
- Describe ways to advance equity in their academic presentation efforts.
