Educational Scholars Program at PAS 2025
Needs Statement
Medical education scholars often face challenges in understanding and applying conceptual frameworks within their scholarly work. Despite their involvement in educational research and academic activities, many remain unaware of how to effectively incorporate these frameworks into their projects, limiting the rigor and impact of their scholarship. This gap highlights a pressing need for targeted professional development in this area. The proposed activity aims to address this need by equipping learners with enhanced skills in educational scholarship. Through seminars that delve into advanced, high-level concepts, participants will gain the tools and understanding necessary to integrate conceptual frameworks meaningfully into their work, thereby elevating the quality and effectiveness of their scholarly contributions.
