Needs Statement

Physicians, clinical researchers, residents, fellows, medical students, and other healthcare professionals involved in health services research need regular updates on new scientific evidence and methodologies in the field. This series aims to foster professional development, to increase learner competency, to refine research performance, to improve healthcare access, quality, and safety, and to promote diversity and equity in health services research.

Target Audience

Physicians, medical students, fellows, residents, and other health professionals.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of the activity, the participants should be able to:

  • Describe the significance of including community members in planning and conducting research.
  • Recognize the role of stakeholders in developing successful partnerships in outreach, program development, and dissemination.
  • Participate in planning community engaged research projects.
