Artificial Intelligence in Food Allergy Diagnosis

Needs Statement

The Immunology, Allergy, and Retrovirology Grand Rounds aims to address the needs of all participants — as learners and audience members and as teachers, speakers, and expert panelists — through a dynamic educational process that captures the evolving scope of these fields. The forum will explore published research results, new clinical evidence, expert recommendations, practical demonstrations of clinical competencies, and strategies for quality improvement. There is an overarching need for instruction in allergic-immune disorders and affected populations that bridges basic science and practical clinical applications from bench to bedside to the larger community for all who care for patients and their families. Embracing the spirit of graduate medical education, this forum will provide faculty development in educational methods, humanism, professionalism, and mentorship while supporting self-assessment, growth, and the enjoyment of life-long learning and teaching. Ultimately, the series aims to empower participants as learners-teachers; to integrate up-to-date, evidence-based recommendations into patient care; and to adapt their clinical practice in alignment with current best practices and standards while upholding professional development.

Target Audience

Physicians, medical students, fellows, residents, nurses, and other health professionals.
