Target Audience and Needs

CommonSpirit hospitalists, internists, family practitioners, advanced practice providers, hospital medical directors, and physician enterprise medical group and operational leaders need to receive regular updates on clinical best practices for inpatients.  Newly published, clinically relevant, evidence-based, peer-reviewed research articles will be used as an impetus for discussion to prioritize clinical areas, identify targets for process improvement, and develop system-wide guidelines.  The series aims to accelerate the practice of evidence-based medicine, to expand the clinical knowledge among the CommonSpirit Health network of hospitalists and other hospital-based healthcare providers, and to improve inpatient outcomes.

Educational Methods

Educational methods will include lectures and panel discussion.
