Needs Statement
Given the wide range of physician specialties practicing thoracic oncology, a broad skill set is essential. These clinicians require specific expertise in thoracic oncology to collaboratively develop the most effective patient care strategies through a multidisciplinary approach. This series will enhance the competence of thoracic care teams by deepening their understanding of immunotherapy regimens, radiologic-pathologic correlations, and surgical considerations, among other thoracic oncology skills. The educational format will support the development of comprehensive treatment strategies tailored to individual patient profiles. By fostering multidisciplinary dialogue, the series will improve performance across the care continuum, enabling participants to make informed, collaborative decisions that reflect current evidence and optimize patient outcomes.
Educational Methods
Educational methods will include case presentations, literature review, and panel discussion.
