Target Audience and Needs

Anesthesiologists, certified registered nurse anesthetists, nurse practitioners, certified anesthesiology assistants, and anesthesiology fellows and residents need to receive regular updates on recent advances in the ever-evolving field of cardiovascular anesthesiology.  The aim of the series is to review past and current primary literature in the field, evaluate the latest developments in clinical research and anesthetic techniques, and recognize the historical context out of which new treatment paradigms emerge.  The series also aims to expand clinical knowledge, disseminate evidence-based clinical practices, enhance the quality of cardiovascular anesthesiology care, and improve patient outcomes.
