Target Audience and Needs
Physicians, residents, fellows, and medical students involved in the care of patients with neurological diseases need to be regularly updated on new advances and emerging evidence in the field of neurology. The aim of the series is to increase clinical knowledge and to review evidence-based guidelines and treatments to enhance the quality of patient care and outcomes.
Educational Methods
Educational methods will include lectures and case presentations.
Objectives
At the conclusion of the sessions, the participants should be able to:
- Implement a comprehensive approach to diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders.
- Utilize evidence-based practice guidelines and standards relevant to neurology.
- Identify cost-effective options by reviewing the pros and cons of specific treatments based on practice outcomes.
- Evaluate safety data, patient-centered data, and cost base to optimize patient care.
- Recognize opportunities to overcome system challenges to improve patient outcomes.
Evaluation
Participants may be asked to complete a session evaluation.
