Target Audience

Educational Needs

Learners require structured educational experiences that address a variety of topics across all areas of otolaryngology practice. Learners also need opportunities to explore evolving standards of care, clarify complex diagnostic and therapeutic pathways, and strengthen their ability to communicate treatment options in a patient-centered and collaborative manner. Through case-based presentations, literature reviews, and resident and expert-led discussions, this series supports the development of effective and individualized patient care plans, particularly those aimed at reducing the likelihood of surgical complications.

Educational Methods

Educational methods will include lectures, case presentations, literature review, and audience response.

Objectives

At the conclusion of the sessions, the participants should be able to:

• Summarize key otolaryngology subspecialty topics and associated clinical challenges.
• Identify and apply strategies to enhance competence in managing complex otolaryngologic conditions.
• Implement evidence-based changes to clinical practice patterns that support the development of new patient care plans and improve patient outcomes.
• Enhance clinical decision-making by evaluating diagnostic and therapeutic options across diverse otolaryngologic subspecialties.

Evaluation

Participants may be asked to complete a session evaluation.
