Hurricane Harvey Rapid Health and Environmental Assessment Study

In this presentation, four Baylor College of Medicine investigators discuss their recent work on the Harvey Rapid Assessment Study. Dr. Melissa Bondy, PhD, Professor of Medicine in the Section of Epidemiology and Population Studies, introduces the presenters and provides background for the study. In September 2017, Hurricane Harvey caused significant flood damage throughout Houston. Dr. Bondy explains the reasoning behind the rapid health assessment as a direct response to the damage caused by hurricane, and provides details on the study’s design.
