Target Audience and Needs

Faculty, residents, and other healthcare professionals involved in Aerospace Medicine need regular updates on current principles and research in aerospace medicine as well as ethics and public health topics. This series intends to provide a means to share ideas and current practices, opportunities for professional interaction, and to act as a resource in preparing residents as professionals, with the result of improved practice performance and patient care outcomes.
 


Educational Methods

Educational methods will include lectures.


Objectives

At the conclusion of the sessions, the participants should be able to:

  • Identify issues in past and current aerospace medicine research in order to improve on new research.
  • Discuss the benefits of various preventive health measures in application to aerospace medicine.
  • Apply advances in aerospace medicine management and treatment to clinical practice.

Evaluation

Participants may be asked to complete a session evaluation.
