Target Audience and Needs

Infectious Disease faculty, fellows, and residents need regular updates on recent advances, published literature, and established national guidelines, in the field of infectious disease. This series aims to promote evidence-based learning to enhance clinical management of patients with infectious diseases.


Educational Methods

Educational methods will include lectures, case presentations, and panel discussion.


Objectives

At the conclusion of the sessions, the participants should be able to:

  • Demonstrate the importance of developing a differential diagnosis for a patient with suspected infection.
  • Prioritize diagnostic methods in clinical infectious diseases.
  • List therapeutic approaches for active infection, including new treatment options.

Evaluation

Participants may be asked to complete a session evaluation.
