Target Audience and Needs

Physicians, residents, fellows, and community physicians need to be regularly updated on advances in pathology, as well as the clinical activities in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.

Educational Methods

Educational methods will include case presentations, literature review, and panel discussions.

Objectives

At the conclusion of the sessions, the participants should be able to:

• Review and discuss a wide variety of different cases.
• Apply the most effective means and ancillary techniques needed in determining diagnosis.
• Utilize literature review and best practices to support case diagnostic workups.
• Analyze the hematopathology of problem cases.
• Effectively communicate clinical-pathological information.

Evaluation

Participants may be asked to complete a session evaluation.
