Target Audience and Needs
Physicians, residents, fellows, and community physicians need to be regularly updated on advances in pathology, as well as the clinical activities in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.
Educational Methods
Educational methods will include case presentations and panel discussions.
Objectives
At the conclusion of the sessions, the participants should be able to:
- Standardize and update clinical practice protocols and promote ideas and actions to improve practice quality and patient care.
- Create opportunities for trainees and practicing staff for advanced sub-specialty learning.
- Improve apheresis practice by standardizing existing protocols and implementing new treatment tools.
- Enhance the understanding of hematoimmunology and rare conditions by discussing cases and reviewing evidence-based literature.
Evaluation
Participants may be asked to complete a session evaluation.
