- Responsible for the operation and redesign of the programs for the high risk pregnancy, asthma, diabetes, heart failure, community health worker assessment & verification of children with special health care needs, SSI application assistance, social determinants of health resources, and utilization review appeals in the Health Insurance Exchange, Medicaid & CHIP managed care populations. Prepare responses to provider complaints from the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC), represent CHC in HHSC member fair hearings, investigate and assist in quality review cases brought before the medical peer review committee. File quarterly reports to the HHSC regarding members with special health care needs, 17P, and member appeals. Participate in Quality work groups for performance and quality improvement plans (PIPs, QIPs, QIS), as well as performance excellence projects for the HHSC.

- Manage electronic health record software solutions through complete life cycle, from strategic planning through software development, release, and maintenance.
- Follow Agile, PDCA, Kaizen management in working with up to twenty-five developers to create software for electronic inpatient registration, order entry, clinical documentation, eMAR medication administration, emergency department, clinical pathways and quality measures for critical access and rural hospitals.
- Our team successfully converted twenty hospitals from paper to electronic documentation in eighteen months.
