Target Audience and Needs
Physicians, fellows, residents, and medical students need to be regularly updated with new advances and guidelines in anesthesia, critical care, and pain management and implement them in clinical practice to enhance the quality of patient care and improve patient outcomes.
Educational Methods
Educational methods will include lectures and case presentations.
Objectives
At the conclusion of the sessions, the participants should be able to:
- Summarize advances in anesthetic technology, its safety, and evidence-based patient care and apply this knowledge to clinical practice
- Discuss current challenges in clinical ethics and research relating to anesthesia, critical care, and pain management and how these challenges can be addressed.
- Integrate new knowledge in the field of anesthesiology into continuing quality improvements/

Participants may be asked to complete a session evaluation.
