Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, the participants should be able to:

  • Learn about the symptoms of anxiety disorders.
  • Screen using validated instruments and to diagnose using DSM-5-TR Criteria.
  • Learn about peer-to-peer consultation and its place in the treatment of anxiety in the primary care setting.
  • Consult with a psychiatrist and treat anxiety themselves in the primary care setting.
  • Learn about effective school accommodations.
  • Write effective school recommendations based on the available evidence and tailored to meet their individual patient’s needs.
