Needs Assessment
There is a clear need for ongoing education that keeps all participants abreast of the latest developments in neuro-oncology, including new clinical guidelines, recent studies, and innovative treatment options. Regular case-based discussions provide opportunities for team members to learn from each other, expand their clinical knowledge, and refine their decision-making skills. These educational activities should emphasize both scientific advances and practical aspects of patient care, such as workflow optimization and evidence-based management strategies. This series is designed to incorporate resources, such as National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) guidelines and recent clinical trials, to ensure that the educational content is current and relevant. The activity provides opportunities to review difficult cases together, so that participants can learn from each other and expand both their knowledge base and clinical skills. The regular discussion and sharing of expertise are meant to help all participants feel more confident in managing complex cases. Ultimately, by addressing both the science and the practical aspects of care through ongoing tumor board meetings, the series aims to make real improvements in multidisciplinary patient care.
Educational Methods
Educational methods will include case presentations.
