Beyond the Pause: Clinical Excellence in Menopause Care
Conference Information
Available by virtual attendance only
Needs Statement
This educational activity is designed to address practice variation and knowledge gaps among physicians and APPs in the management of menopauses. Differences in comfort level, training, and clinical experience contribute to inconsistent approaches in diagnosing and treating menopausal symptoms. To bridge these gaps, the activity will provide targeted education on core topics focused on evidence-based practices for the identification and management of peri-, pre- and postmenopausal symptoms, including diagnostic protocols, pharmacologic treatment options, lifestyle modifications, and individualized care approaches for patients with complex medical histories—such as those with a history of breast cancer or cardiovascular disease. The activity aims to enhance patient care by leveraging evidence-based protocols, to improve recognition of and treatment of menopause, thus improving care delivery for menopause aged women in primary care.
Target Audience
Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers

- Integrate evidence-based guidelines and clinical algorithms into the comprehensive care of individuals across the menopausal transition.
- Evaluate hormonal and non-hormonal treatment options, including their indications, benefits, risks, and contraindications.
- Develop individualized management strategies based on patient needs and presence of complex medical conditions
