Target Audience and Needs
Physicians, residents, fellows, medical students and other healthcare professionals involved in orthopaedic surgery need regular updates regarding development of treatment and strategies for musculoskeletal conditions as well as a platform to discuss research progress and development. This series intends to increase knowledge of the learners in orthopaedic surgery topic areas, and encourage them to implement the advances and guidelines in order to improve clinical outcomes.
Educational Methods
Educational methods will include lectures and case presentations.
Objectives
At the conclusion of the sessions, the participants should be able to:
- Apply evidence-based clinical practice changes to evaluation and treatment of various musculoskeletal conditions.
- Describe recent advances in surgical techniques related to orthopaedic surgery.
- Review current guidelines for postoperative monitoring and prevention of revision surgery.
Evaluation
Participants may be asked to complete a session evaluation.
