NEEDS STATEMENT
The goal of this activity is to provide the latest developments, guidance, and advances in treatment and management of pediatric depression.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the conclusion of this activity, the participant(s) will be able to:
- Discuss evidence-based guidance related to the diagnosis and management of pediatric behavioral health disorders
- Integrate best-practice approaches into the management of pediatric behavioral health disorders
- Recognize the importance of interprofessional and interdisciplinary approach in the contexts of improving care delivery and patient outcomes.
- Identify opportunities for clinicians to collaborate and engage with ongoing medical education focused on pediatric behavioral health.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Primary care, pediatrics, med-peds, and behavioral health clinicians caring for pediatric age patient
EDUCATIONAL METHODS
Lecture, Panel Discussion, and Small Group Breakout Sessions
ACTIVITY EVALUATION
Evaluation by questionnaire will address program content, presentation, and possible bias.
