CommonSpirit Texas Division Physician Enterprise CME Event
NEEDS STATEMENT
There is a critical need for healthcare providers in Texas to enhance their knowledge and practices in key areas, including human trafficking, medical economics, obesity management, heart failure, outpatient surgeries, and collaborative care. Human trafficking remains a critical issue, with many clinicians still requiring essential skills to identify and intervene effectively in these cases. The increasing emphasis on value-based care models demands that providers collaborate more effectively as therapies shift into ambulatory settings, requiring adjustments to both diagnosis and treatment approaches. Additionally, with heart failure mortality rates on the rise since 2012, it is crucial for clinicians to improve the diagnosis and treatment of heart failure to optimize patient outcomes. This CME event aims to address these issues by providing healthcare professionals with the latest evidence-based knowledge and practical tools to improve patient care across these diverse areas of practice.
