Needs Statement

The course is designed to bring community oncologists and practitioners in both breast cancer management and prevention to updated guidelines in breast cancer care both from surgical, medical oncology and radiation oncology points.

Target Audience

Physicians, trainees, and healthcare professionals treating breast cancer from various specialties.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of the conference, participants should be able to:

  • Review the latest updates from ASCO 2024 in the management of breast cancer.
  • Discuss advanced surgical techniques in breast cancer and axilla management.
  • Compare newer radiation modalities for breast cancer.
  • Evaluate caveats in breast cancer imaging.
  • Outline genetic screening strategies for primary prevention in high-risk patients.
