Educational Methods
Educational methods will include case presentations, panel discussion, and audience response.
Objectives
At the conclusion of the sessions, the participants should be able to:
- Describe the clinical features, pathophysiology, and emerging treatment strategies for immune-mediated epilepsy, including the role of immunomodulatory and critical care interventions.
- Apply evidence-based frameworks and standardized management protocols to evaluate suspected cases of immune-mediated epilepsy, emphasizing early recognition, appropriate diagnostic testing, and multidisciplinary treatment planning.
- Implement strategies to enhance multidisciplinary coordination among relevant specialties to improve patient care of individuals with immune-mediated epilepsy.
- Incorporate and translate the latest research findings into clinical decision-making to optimize patient care for individuals with immune-mediated epilepsy.
