Target Audience and Needs

Harris Health System psychiatrists and psychologists need to receive regular updates on evidence-based advances in psychiatry and psychology practice.  National guidelines on clinical topics such as addiction and medication management will be used as an impetus for discussion.  Ethical issues surrounding psychiatry and psychology practice will also be reviewed.  The series aims to expand the knowledge of learners, enhance the quality of mental healthcare, and improve patient outcomes.
