Needs Statement
Pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine healthcare providers require ongoing education that delivers up-to-date, evidence-based information and practical skills. In addition to expanding clinical knowledge, providers need support in translating new insights and competencies into improved patient care, including adopting best practices, applying new skills in real-world settings, and monitoring performance improvements such as patient outcomes and guideline adherence. This grand rounds series is designed to address these needs by providing current, evidence-based updates and highlighting recent advancements in pulmonary medicine. Through interactive case discussions and expert-led question-and-answer sessions, participants will enhance their clinical skills and gain practical strategies for implementing new diagnostic tools and therapeutic approaches. The series will foster the integration of acquired knowledge into daily practice, encourage the consistent use of guideline-concordant therapies, and promote ongoing evaluation of clinical performance. Ultimately, these sessions aim to significantly improve the quality of care delivered in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine.
Educational Methods
Educational methods will include lectures, case presentations, literature review, panel discussion, and audience response.
Objectives

- Apply updated clinical guidelines to real-world patient care scenarios, emphasizing early recognition, intervention, and standardized management.
- Consistently incorporate guideline-concordant therapies in daily pulmonary and critical care practice.
