Target Audience and Needs

Otolaryngologists, head and neck surgeons, audiologists, speech pathologists, oral maxillofacial surgeons, residents, fellows and medical students who are involved in the care of patients need to receive regular updates on the recent advances and guidelines in the fields of otolaryngology and head and neck surgery.  The aim of the series is to expand clinical knowledge by implementing recent advances and guidelines in clinical practice to enhance the quality of patient care and outcomes.


Educational Methods

Educational methods will include lectures and case presentations.


Objectives

At the conclusion of the sessions, the participants should be able to:

  • Summarize the otolaryngology subspecialty topics discussed.
  • Identify strategies to develop competence in the management of addressed otolaryngology topics.
  • Implement changes and improvements in clinical practice patterns based on presentation of current management strategies.

Evaluation

Participants may be asked to complete a session evaluation.
