Target Audience and Needs

Gastroenterologists, hepatologists, transplant surgeons, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, fellows, residents, and other healthcare trainees in gastroenterology and related fields need to receive regular updates on research advances regarding the pathophysiology and natural history of gastrointestinal disorders.  New areas of investigation will be highlighted, including emerging diagnostic tools, therapeutic techniques, and management strategies.  The series aims to expand the knowledge of learners, promote current clinical best practices, enhance the quality of gastroenterology care, and improve patient outcomes.
